LCD LaserCut AG was first set up in 1995 and is an independent company. Our core business involves the laser cutting of electrical steel sheet, supplemented in a holistic approach by innovative lamination stacking technologies and wide-ranging process engineering capabilities. We build prototypes and small-volume runs, and we support our customers up to the mass production stage. We carry out a number of engineering orders in parallel every day. Every year, we laser cut several thousand different lamination geometries and stack these to form active components within electric motors. Our customers include motor manufacturers from a very broad cross-selection of market segments in the area of electrical drive engineering. Our partners include small businesses and global corporations alike.
Our products and services are produced with solid experience and great care by technically or commercially trained, long-established specialists. We are also used to dealing with major challenges with regard to technology and time constraints.
We can start production immediately because we keep a large stock of electrical steel sheet in all the popular grades, sheet thicknesses and coatings – and in bonding varnish.
Laser cut electrical laminations
We use state-of-the-art production facilities to manufacture prototypes and small runs to a precision of a few hundredths of a millimetre, without tools and within an extremely short time.
Stacking the laminations to form active components
We maximise the customer benefits by using the latest technologies (such as bonding adhesive processes, laser welding and interlock simulations) in addition to conventional methods.
